Open Player account → Delete player account. The current deletion flow requires the exact confirmation word DELETE.
If an online match is active, deletion is blocked until that match is completed or forfeited so the competitive result and opponent state cannot be corrupted.
Protected email/password accounts may be asked to reauthenticate before deletion.
If you cannot access the app, email info@devoviastudio.com with the subject Sudoku Duel Account Deletion.
Include the public Friend ID and/or linked account email if available, plus enough non-secret information for us to locate the account. Do not send your password, store password, purchase-card information or authentication codes.
We may ask for additional verification to reduce the risk that somebody else deletes your account.
The current account-deletion architecture removes the server player record and cascading account data, including associated wallet/ledger state, social relationships/challenges and match data that is configured to cascade with the player record. The flow then attempts to delete the Firebase Authentication user.
After successful in-app deletion, the application may create a new, separate guest session so the app can continue operating without reconnecting the deleted identity.
A minimal abuse-prevention tombstone containing the deleted Firebase UID and deletion timestamp may be retained solely to prevent account-recreation/reward abuse. Purchase, fraud, security or legal records may also need limited retention where required to resolve disputes, prevent transaction replay or comply with law.
Sudoku Duel is still in development. The final fixed retention period for the deletion tombstone will be published before public release and reflected in the production Privacy Policy.
In the rare case that server data is removed but Firebase Authentication deletion fails, contact info@devoviastudio.com so the remaining identity record can be reviewed through the support process.
Deleting a Sudoku Duel account does not automatically erase transaction records held independently by Google Play, Apple or other platform providers. Those providers control their own purchase-history and account-retention systems.
